Road Talk. —The Nevada Journal and Grass Valley National contain able arguments in favor of building a road to the Washoe diggings, connecting with highways already in existence in the county. The Journal says: “Let us petition the Legislature to allow the county 16 levy a tax of a small per centago on the dollar, on the property of the citizens whose wealth will be increased by the construction of the road, to begin and complete the enterprise. The expense is trifling, while the benefits rtmst be great.” Both papers indicate the route by Eureka South as the proper one, abd estimate the cost of the road at from §15;0C0 to §20,000. District Court. —October term began on Tuesday. The trial of Wm. B. Oaguo for the killing of Moore was called On, and con cluded Wednesday evening.
