WATERBURY EVENING DEMOCRAT, FRIDAY. JANUARY 25, 1907.
Politicians
flEE VERY QUEER DUCKS"
r ' Se how they are treating our post
asaster Just because one gang thinks
these should be a change simply to
give another fellow a soft snap.
Well, we're not In politics, therefore
ve don't know why a man should
b dropped when he is doing his busi
ness In the 0. K. style. But we do
believe a remark we heard right in
font of our tea store the other day.
The parting word was he'd rather
have the devil he knew than -the
devil he didn't know. 'Now It's pret
ty near the same way at our store.
When people begin to buy our tea
und coffee and they find it's the nice
tasting, O. K. kind, they continue to
purchase from us simply because
they know if they go elsewhere they
von't get the same good quality;
therefore they'd rather buy from the
one they do know in preference to
the one they don't know. That's one
reason we keep our eye on the qual
ity all the time. Remember if you
want chicory in your coffee you
must tell us so; the law won't let us
ell It otherwise. This week we give
a double meat roaster or 4 bars of
Eoap with a pound of our warranted
food 50-cent tea, at , ,
