Chauncey Wack, Dorsey's father-in-law,

Louisville I purchased a coffin and
bad it shipped to Nashville. On my
arrival at Nashville I started for
army headquarters, to make inquiries
!ibut the corpse, and the vry first
man J met galloping through the
streets was Dorsev. I told him I had
a colli u for him at the landing, and
insisted tin his taking it off my bands,
as it might come bandy, bui be de

negotiations ' with an undertaker,
which resulted in my getting my
