L. Rupard. Tuesday, 10 a. m., a teachers' meeting in theory and a teachers' meeting in practice, conducted by J. L. Rupard; 2:30 p. m., "The Teachers' Work," Ci) "Preparing the Lesson to Teach It" by J. W. Laring, (2) "How to Teach the Various Classes" by W. F, Owen (3) "The Teacher's Personal Work'' by W. H. A sufficient contest affidavit having been filed in this office by Frank Rothrock, con testant, against Homestead Entry No. 11 1 13. made Sept. 15, 1906, for ne4 Sec. 14, twp. 6 n, range 30 e, by Herbert Vil hauer. contestee, in which it is alleged, under date of Jan. 7, igo8, that the said Herbert Vilhauer has wholly abandoned said entry ; that he has changed his resi dence therefrom for more than six months since making said entry, and next prior to the date hereof ; that said tract is not set tled upon and cultivated by said party as required by law, and that the said alleged absance from the said land was not due to his employment in the Army, Navy or Ma rine Corps of the United States as ,n pri vate soldier, officer, seaman or marine, during the war with Spain, or during any other war in which the United States may be engaged. Said parties are hereby notified to ap pear, respond, and offer evidence touching aid allegation at 10 o'clock a. in , on April 20, 1908, before T. B. S. Denby, U. S. court commissioner, at his office in Melro?e. N.
