A card party for the benefit of the
parish library will be given on next
Tuesday evening at the school hall
a under the auspices of the Young La
dies and Girls Sodalities Ice cream
and cake will be served after the
games As the object of the entertain
ment is such a noble onethe en
larging of the library and as many
people of this part of Denver are
known to have literary leanings and as I
the motto on the tickets is most true
viz that Libraries like mines need
capital to be developed and as the
admission is but 21 cents therefore it
is to be hoped that everyone in the
parish will procure a ticket or more
and get their outside friends to help
them along in the good cause
The Young Ladies Sodality had a
very interesting meeting Sunday last
It WiS decided to change the hour of
assembly from 4 to 230 oclock
Sunday evening F Gireman director
of the league gave a most instructive
J discourse on the general intention of
the month
