The fire started under a shed adjoining the barn, and ran up one of the posts supporting the shed.setting the clapboards on the barn afire. It was just getting under good headwny when it was seen by n nian diiving into town, who awoke the neihbors and they soon put it out witli pails of water without calling out the fire department. The morning being rainy and only a few members present no morning session waa held, but after dinner the sun appeared and more patrons havinp; arrived the meet ing was called to order by Worthy Master W.
