BAD STRETCH OF COUNTY ROAD
A gentleman who was making the
trip by automobile from Miami to
Jacksonville, s.ild while In Daytona
Saturday morning that the section
of bad road In the southern part of
tliis county was in deplorable condi
tion and some means should be taken
to make it at leant passable. He
stated that ten cars were mired in
it Friday, Hvo of them at one time,
Ills car being among the number. It
cost him $15 to be pulled out of the
mud. He stated that it looked very
much like a holdup business, as
there were persons on the lookout
for the unfortunates, who are charged
exorbitant prices for being taken out
of the bog.
