It was a curiously arranged baso
ball team that presented Itself on
Ebbets field yesterday afternoon to
play the Superbas the final game of
the series. And yet it gave a good
account of Itself as the score of 7 to
G will indicate. The Iirooklynites
took the big end of the tally, but
the somewhat shuffled up Mackmen
made it more than interesting for the
gentlemen from beyond the suspen
sion bridge.
Jack Harry, Rube Oldring, Jimnile
Walsh and Amos Strunk were among
the missing, along with Joe Bush
and a couple of young pitchers, hav
ing returned to Jacksonville on Sun-
lies, as he was rather wild and in
effective. The weather was anything but per

All-Star Cubans at Kbbets field in
the first of a four-game series. The
visitors from the l'earl of the Antilles
may be depended upon to furnish a
considerable argument during their
stay in this section, as their reputa
tion on the diamond is such as to
guarantee a creditable performance.
