FACTS ABOUT HALIFAX
That there is nothing experimental or theoretical in our
tests and estimates of the Halifax lands, we find traces of
the occupation of the land in the old Mission ruins, the
foundations of ancient build ngs and fortifications, the
old sugar mills and an exten ive system of drainage ditch
es. We find the old sugar fields today covered with great
moss-draped live-oaks, magnolias and hickory s, and the
dense and luxuriant hammock growing as heavy as vir
gin forest, with the furrows of the old fields still plainly
visible under the trees.
It is a beautiful place for a picnic. We have a club house
out there to which you will be hospitably welcomed.
Drive out any day, you will find it worth while. Get one
of our maps. It will show you the roads. Yours with
pleasure if you will call for it.

SEABREEZE
When, in 1898 while a guest at the Colonade,
the great hotel in its day, he wrote and pub
lished a prophetic article, illustrated with
many actual scenes, in which he gave Sea
breeze the name of
The City Beautiful
What he said was true. What his brilliant portic soul
dreamed has been more than realized, and Seabreeze is
yet in its infancy. It must grow. It can grow in one
direction, north, only. Get one of our maps.
