Mrs. Isherwood, who was 83 years of age. had for some time past been in failing health, but had only been con lined to her bed for the past two or three weeks. Funeral arrangements are awaiting the arriv al from Toledo, Ohio, of W. L. Ostran- der. a cousin of Mrs. Isherwood, and her business agent. The deceased, who was born in Wil loughby, Ohio, Sept. 19th. 1833, is sur vived by three sisters, Mrs. M. Babir.g on. of this city. Mrs. Klniira Davton ot Riverside. Cal.. and Mrs. Carrie Rouse, of lUissfield, Mich., now in Los Anueb's. Cal. Mrs. Isherwood, in company with her husband, was one of the first of. t 'avion s wmier visitors, spending the seasons here tor many years at the 1 almetto house in the early days of the city, coming here first more than 40 years ago. Mr. Isherwood died about to years ago. After his death: Mrs. Isherwood spent several years in southern Italy. On her return from ! abroad she made her home with her stster. Mrs. Rouse, in Hlissfield.
