The new railroad will bo known ni the Oklahoma City, Den ver nnd Gulf. The stockholders nre Oklahoma City pnrtias. The line will cvtend through lHiisiaiui, Texas, Ok lahoma, Kansas nnd Colorada. It Is the intention to start the con struction of the lino at Shreveport, La., and extend It in n northwesterly direction through Texas, the Choctnw, Chickasha and beminole nations in the Indian territory. In Oklahoma the lino will traverse through the following counties: Pot tawatomie, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Canadian, Logan, Kingfisher, Blaine, Garfield, Custer, Dewey, Woods, Day, AVoodward and Heaver. The distance of the lino from Shreve port to Denver is given as 777 miles and is to bo constructed nt an estimat ed cost of $2,",000 per mile, aggrega ting a sum of $10, -125 ,030, the amount for which the company is capitalized.
