The School House Well
A reader who lives In a township in
which there are no wells on any of
the eight or nine school grounds in
the area cills attention to the fitct that
there ought to be welU, made frog and
moiiee tight, so that the boys nnd girls
Mould have- a convenient and pure
water supply and would not have to
bother ueighlors in the vicinity going
after water nnd often leaving gates un
fastened and windmill out of gear. He
makes tho further suggestion that it
would bo advantageous all around if
the schoolhotisc well was located u
outside tho fence beside the road, so
that it could be used not only by the
school population, but also by travel
ers along the highway, who, if a small
trough were provided, would dud it
very canvonlont for tho watering of
their horses or In furni?))jng n drink
for themselves. Adlstlnat nd vantage
of this over the usual location would
be that with the increased use of the
water It would keep fresher nnd purer
and bo much less liable to become
fouled through disuse during vacation

Much'sickness is of nervous
origin. It s the nerves that
' make the heart force the blood
through the veins, the lungs
take in oxygen, the stomach di

and the kidneys filter the blood.
If any of these organs are weak,
it is the fault of the nerves

strength. Dr. Miles' Nervine is
a specific for the nerves. It
soothes the irritation and assists
in the generation of nerve force.
Therefore you"can hardly miss
