Mr. and Mrs. James Washington of Fel'/.er have recently visited relatives and friends here. In common with the many friends of the late Dr. Manning Simons, of Charleston, we were shocked and pain ed to learn of his death. It was the writers sad privilege to nttond his funeral. Dr. Simons was an eminent physician and his death will he sin cerely mourned by all of his acquaint ances.
