entitled. We have, by live years' practice in
claims against the IT. S. Government, become
perfectly acquainted with all the minute rules
and practice of that Department, and arc well
known to the Commissioner of Pennons. Wo
will attend promptly to all claims entrusted to
us. As three hundred thousand persons are
entitled under this law, there will bo great delay
in issuing Llicm, and it is therefore highly I
important that application be made without
delay.
We will also pay cash for the Warrants, or advance
money upon them.

The Examiner will abide by the old land-marks
of the Slatu I'ights Democracy. Independent
of national parties, it will take a stand as n

of maintaining Southern Eights and promoting
Southern Union. It will he the organ
of no political party?the exponent of no po
lilical creed?which has not for one of its cardinal
principles "the Equality of the South in
the Union, or Independence out of it." This is
no new faith, but one which South Carolina
has long and earnestly eon I ended for.

The Examiner will contain the latest. News,
Foreign nnd Domestic, received up to the hour
of publication. It will give full nnd correct I

SIZE AND STYLE.
The Kx'arninor will be one of the largest
Weekly Journals in the Southern States, printed
with new and elegant type, on fine white
paper, and issued in large quarto form of eight
pages, containing forty column* of interesting
reading matter. It will be the handsomest pa,
per ev<.-r published in South Carolina.
I have thus given an outline of tho principal features
of the Examiner. Carolinians or tho people
of the South ought to need no further uppent
in view of the present aspect of political
affairs, to induce them to sustain with vigor
and efficiency their own Press and Literolure.
