Dodge in her home on Monday afternoon. Miss John son, who has been visiting here for the past month, left Monday night for New York. She will stop en route at Carlsbad Cav erns and New Orleans. THE COOLIDGE EXAMINER Woman’s Club To Hold Dessert Bridge April 18 A benefit dessert bridge will he held by members of Coolidge Woman's Club Saturday after noon, April 18th. at 1:30 in their clubhouse. The proceeds of this party will be used to buy neces sary equipment for furnishing the clubhouse as a recreational center for soldiers. The regular business meeting of the club will be held Thursday afternoon, April 7tli at 2:15 in the clubhouse. —o Catholic Young People Organize New Society Here A group of Catholic young peo ple met Tuesday night at the Tanglefoot Dance Hall, where they organized a new society and elect ed officers. George Gadbols was chosen president; Alfred Ramerez, vice president; Narcissuss M.onreal, secretary and treasurer, anil Lupe Gomez, social chairman. A name, has not yet been chosen for the! society. Dancing formed the evening’s entertainment and refreshments were served. Dolorez Ramerez waH hostess. o Birthday Party, Easter Egg Hunt At England Ranch A combination birthday party and Easter egg hunt was given Sunday afternoon at the Jewel England ranch for Shari Ann Eng land on her second birthday, and her older sisters Sue and Joyce England, who were hostesses at the Easter egg hunt. A pink and blue color scheme was carried out and favors were Easter baskets filled with small candy eggs. Moving pictures were taken of the children during the afternoon. Those present were Cecil Strick land. Jr., Mary Kay Culbert, Joel England, Bonnye McFarland, Joyce McFarland, Pauline Brewer, Shir ley Davis, Clara Ann Brewer. Older guests included Mrs. Harry Culbert, Mrs. J. B. Strickland and Mrs. C. C. England. Pauline Brewer and Shirley Davis won prizes for finding the most eggs. o Twins Celebrate Double Birthday Mrs. O. H. Mrs. E. D. Chandler visit ed her sister and brother in-law Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Milliken in Santa Mlonica and Mrs. Virgil Chandler visited her sisters in Hollywood. & Mrs. J. C.
