James E. O'Connor as, agent ap
peared for J. H. Eraly and asked for
reduction on southwest quarter of
northeast quarter section 29, township
4,. range 10, 40 acres. Upon sufficient
cause being showa it was ordered re
duced from $400 to $200; the southwest
quarter of section 31, township 4, range
10, lGQ-acres, was ordered ta stand as
raised.
Manuel Arvizu appeared and com
plained that raise in his assessment
previously made by this Board, was In
just and asked that same be reduced
to original assessment. Upon due con
sideration it was ordered to stand as
raised,
Tt appearing to the Hoard that the
following described land, lots 2,3, 4, 5,
12, 13, 14 and 15, block B, Casa Grande
lownsite,. assessed to Mrs. Stocking,
has escaped taxation for the years 1800,
1 Si7 and 18P8, it was ordered added
to and a&sebseil. for said years.
James E,, Arthur appeared before
the Board relative to raise on real
estate and asked for reduction on same.
Upon sufficient causa being shown, it
was ordered reduced to original assess
ment. Wm. Wright appeared aud asked for
reduction, on northwest quarter of
southwest quarter section 10, town
ship 5, range 9, 40 acres. Upon due
consideration it was ordered to stand
as raised.
It appearing that block 130, Florence
townsite, belonging to; Charles Fore
man, was not listed for the year 1898,
it wasjordered that same he reassessed
for said, year 1898.
Upon informatiou furnished by the
Assessor, 250,000 tons, more or less,
of valuable tailings belonging to the
Mammoth Collins Gold Mines Limited,
was ordered added to essessmeut roll
for 1809, at a valuation of $50,000.
Upon motion Board adjourned to
meet to-morrovy at 2 p. m.
