The Board of Supervisors met this day in continued regular session
with all members and the clerk present.
Upon motion by XF. R. Hightower, seconded by A. C. Stanton and
carried unanimously, the sum of $2,590.00" is hereby transferred from the
-National Forest School and Road fund to the General Road fjMd and the
eum of $526.66 from the National Forest School and Road fund to the
General School fund.
' Upon motion by Pickens Anderson, seconded by A. C. Stanton and
carried unanimously, the clerk- is hereby authorized to 'advertise tor
bids for two Fords and one Dodge automobile. Sale to be November C, 1922.
The Board met on the 9th day of October, 1922, being the second
Monday next succeeding the 30th day of September, 1922, being the date
whereon an election was held in Franklin Irrigation District, County of
Greenlee, State of Arizona, pursuant to an order of this BoaTd and to the
law in such case made and provided, for the purpose of determining whe
ther said Irrigation District should be organized under the provisions of
Chapter 149 of the Session Laws of Arizona,, 1921, and for the election of
three 'Directors of said Franklin Irrigation District, for; the purpose of can
vassing the vote cast at said election for said purpose, and immediately
thereon said Board did canvass said votes cast at said election.
Proper affidavits of the posting and publication of the notices ot
Bald election having beenfiled with this Board, and the Board being duly
informed in the premises it was declared that the said election had been
held and conducted' in conformity with the. orders of this Board and with
the provisions of said Chapter 149"of 'the Session Laws, of Arizona, 1921.
Upon such canvass it was found that twenty-nine (29) votes had been
cast at said election and that twenty-eight (28) votes were voted "Irriga
tion District Yes" and that none of said votes were voted "Irrigation
District No."
Upon said canvass it was further found that J. F. MeGrath received
twenty (20). rotes, as Director of said Irrigation District; and that W. T.
Gale received seventeen (17) votes, 'as Director of said Irrigation District;
and that 3'. C. Elledge received twelve (12) votes, as Director of said Irri
gation District; and that Jesse B. Simms received ten (10) votes, as Direc
tor of said Irrigation District; and that George W. Wyatt received, eight
(8) votes, as Director of said) Irrigation District; and that J. R. Robbs re
ceived eleven (11) votes, as Director of said Irrigation District; and that
'Alvin Warren received five (5) votes, as Director of Baid Irrigation Dis
trict; and that C. B. Movers received two (2) rotes, as Director of said
Irrigation District; and that Tom Arnett received two (2) rotes, as Director
of said Irrigation District.

W. T. Gale, and J. C. Elledge were at said election, elected Directors of
said Irrigation and are hereby declared elected as Directors ot said Irriga

MeGrath is, and is hereby declared to be, elected Director of said Irriga
tion District for the term of three (3) years from the First day of January,
1923 and until his successor is eleqted and, qualified; that the said W. T.
Gale, is and is hereby declared to be, elected Director of said Irrigation
district for the term of two (2) years1 from the said First day of January
1923 and until his successor is elected and qualified; and that the said J.
C. Elledge is, and is hereby declared to be, elected a Director ot said
Irrigation District for the term of one (1) year from said First day of

district purposes, which may be assessed, against the said respective lots
or parcels of such land, shall be that proportion of the whole tax, that the
number of acres of land now under cultivation in the said respective lots
or parcels of such land, as hereinafter specified in this order and as shown
on that certain map and plat designated "Map of Franklin Irrigation Dis
trict" which shall be prepared and filed, as hereinafter provided in this
order, beam to the aggregate number of acres now under cultivation, as
shown by said map and as hereinafter specified, within said boundaries of
said Franklin Irrigation District.
