:With the closing of the old year, you may be looking for a new job, How about being a
policeman in Casa Grande or Tucson? Would you rather work at a dude ranch? Or be a house
keeper at. a nursing home?
Applicants for the 8-week police training in Tucson must be U.S. citizens of at least one
fourth Indian blood, 21-35 years of age, have a high school education, and never have been
convicted of a felony or high misdemeanor. Additional requirements may be learned from ...the
Employment assistance office of the BIA in Sells, Men interested in the Casa Grande position
should contact the placement office or Allen B. Clark, Criminal Investigator at the Sells
Municipal building.
Two jobs are open for women to work during the winter months at a dude ranch near Sasabe.
Housekeepers and nursing aides are wanted by a. Tucson nursing home which furnishes living
quarters for employees, High school graduates interested in learning to be either orderlies
or nursing aides should apply soon for training in Phoenix, starting early in January.
Domestic jobs are available in Tucson. Enis is one of two reservation agents for a
cosmetics line.

Dean M. Manuel, Gila Bend, Chandler; Francis Ramon, Big Fields, to Phoenix; and Fernando
Segundo, Topawa, to Los Angeles. Eloysa and Carnelia Gar.cia, Charco 27, and Sarah Pablo,
Santa Rosa, went to Chandler.

On-the-job training to seme Cherokees in western North Carolina may be provided with the
establishment of a new business on the reservation. The Eastern band of Cherokees will
construct a structure to be used by a New York manufacturer of hair curlers and
other aids to hair styling.
