Wool has commenced coining
in, there being about 400 bales
now piled up along the tracks
awaiting shipment.
Sergeant Capron, who has been
stationed at Cooley's for some
time, has been transferred to
Denver, and left for there last
night.
W. E. Baxter, who has been
working on Snips at St. Johns,
came down yesterday. Printers
don't seem to hang out very long
in the Apache city.
Rev. Sloan, of Gallup, will hold
services at the school house next
Tuesday evening, and it is ex
pected that he will hold services
every other Tuesday thereafter.
District Attorney W. H. Bur
bage and Supervisors J. X. Woods
of Winslow, and J. II. Willis, of
Snowflake, were here Monday
and Tuesday attending the regu
lar quarterly meeting of the
county board.
Hon. Wm. Morgan came in
from Phoenix Thursday and
leaves today for Show Low. Mrs.
Morgan presented him with a
daughter at their Phoenix home,
and the little one is at the pres
ent time about one month old.
