Pendleton, who has had charge of the construe-' tion of the government wagon road from the saw-mill on the Indian reservation to Fort Apa che, returned home on Tuesday, the road having been finished onj March 1. i Work was begun on December ' 8 and progressed without hin drance from bad weather, with a force of about 130 Indians em ployed, lames Broderick, - of i If it's a bilious attack, take Chamberlain's Stomach and Liv er Tablets and a quick recovery is certain. Some changes will have to be made in grades on the old por tion of the road between Kice and the sawmill, which will soon be undertaken by Mr. Pendleton. Then t. ere will be a first-class road for teaming all the way from Rice, on the G. V. & N. rail road, to Ft. Apache, a distance of fifty miles, and most of the hauling for Ft. Apache will doubtless be transferred from the northern route from Hol brook, which is ninety miles over a road almost impassible four months of the year, to the new road from Rice. Globe Belt. WaKeful Children. For a long time the two vear old child of Mr. P. L. McPlurson, 59 N. Tenth St., Harrisburg, Pa., would sleep but two or three hours in the early part of the night, which made it very hard for her parents.
