If 1 were a king ah love, if I were
king!
What tributary nations would I
bring
To stoop before your scepter and
to swear
Allegiance to your lips and eye
and hair.
Beneath your feet what treasures
I would fling;
The stars should he your pearls up

The world a ruby for your finger

And you should have the sun anU

If 1 were king.
