Thert. is no use in mincing words, the K muse shows are the finest as regards quality, quantity, moral tone and a ood measure for tbe money spent compared to any like attraction in the country. Morally the carnival is clean. The bhows are wholesome, the performers without exception seem to bear that cleverness of demeanor which causes each spectator to feel as though they wert. a great deal nearer and dearer to him than is usually the case at either carnival, circus or theatrical productions. It furnishes clean amusement, de lightfully sensational entertain ment, and to the student of things in general, an opportunity par ex cellence to mentally weigh a number of things. Take, for instance, Mr. Krause's most sensational of all free acts, Miss Elna Meier, the diving Venus. One would expect that this exhibition vould b( reserved for a special in closure where the curious public would gladly pay a separate fee to view this wonderful young lady who Iras astounded the whole country with her marvelous exhibition. But Mr. Krause is different from the aerage showman. He is the (Tiginator of any number of inno atious that other managers have ravenously patterned after and his ticcision to make the admission free Into the midway will be welcomed by all. Attn noon as well as night exhibi tions " ill be held for the entire week i of Lee. ::n. j The carnival is given under the i in. spin s of th( Lakeland fire depnrt I li'ent ;iiu I will lie located on the lot belli iid i he power house.
