The more we come to know God, ourselves, our fellow men, and tho world we live in, the more we see that we must deal carefully' with circum stances and conditions as they are. not as we wish they were,, or hope they will be some day. We must hold the vision without it, the people perish but it would not ba a vision, were it materialized, ac tualized, now. Deeply hidden in the hearts of most of us, lurks the feeling of kinship. Wc know this because, when calamity befalls, it rises to the surface in deeds. In the minds of most of us, lies the ideal of brotherhood. This is provable in exactly the same way. How shall we bring forth this under lying brotherhood that it mayTie more seen in the haunts of men; how bring it into the daily routine, that life may b3 made more beautiful and more pleasant and more successful? A part of the people of the world has repudiated brotherhood; stifled heart for gain; substituted for unity, domination; for commerce, plunder. Wc could not believe this at first.. It is very plain, now. Feudalism is not idcarl yet. Tyranny organizes carefully, strong ly. It knows it must, In order to keep ib' head on its shoulders. Goodness is but loosely organized. It trusts itself, as Tyranny does not, can not. Vet it is necessary now for Good ness to organize carefully, strongly. This is a special time. All kinds of Goodness, everywhere, must stretch forth willing hands, and grasp all other willing hands, making on in vincible wall of Goodness, beyond which Tyranny cannot go. ir Goodness were organized as strongly and carefully as Tyranny Is, there would shortly be no Tyranny at all.
