Brandon, who said he had secured part of this num- W near Fort Lauderdale, The larger number coming from the Big Cypresa region ol the 'Glades. Mr. Brandon said they have a camp there and their work is not hard. The Indians have plenty of spare time now, said he, as and the hunting season has closed. Mr.. Peters is using a practical method ot saving the tomatoes, that are over-ripe for shipping or that might go to waste by reason of lack of demand or shipping facilities and is canning a considerable part of his crop, about 3,000 cans a day beln jthe output at present, according to Mr. Brandon. He reports the Peters crop as being shorter than should be the case but the prices are such that Mr. Peters believes the general result will be about evening up. Miami Me tropolis.
