ROLLINS COLLEGE OPENED WITH GOOD ATTENDANCE Rollins College opened its thirty sixth year last Monday, Sept. 20, with an enrollment so large that all dor mitories were taxed to their utmost capacity and several houses In town had to be engaged for the use of stu dents. A special through car, which left Cincinnati Sunday morning, ar rived Monday evening with a large number of students from Ohio. Near ly every state in the .Union and a number of foreign countries are rep resented in the new registration. The formal opening exercise were held in Knowles Hall Wednesday morning, Sept. 22, after which the regular schedule took effect. Football practice began, with good prospects, two dnys prior to the opening. An Interesting feature of the new enrollment is the presence of a num ber of the "second generation," whose father or mother were graduated from Rollins many fears ago. Under the leadership of President Oeorre Morgan Ward, the campaign for an additional $1,000,000 endow ment is meeting with success. All present Indications point to the moist successful year Rollins has ever had.
