The Seniors have come into their own again yesterday they proved themselves the star marathon 'run ners, when they beat the Juniors in a four-man relay racje around Lake Wire. Representing the two classes were: Juniors Dawson Bates, Louis S-watts, Leland Middaugh and Roy Thompson. Seniors William Ander son, William Hardin, Edward Ander son and Joseph Dickey. The race was made by the Seniors in three minutes, five seconds. This morning the Juniors and Sen iors again clashed, when they met in the school auditorium for a debate: "Resolved: That the Open Shop Has Tv U m x 1 f 1 .1 mi. 1 ! uuua iviure iur me worm man ine Union Has", the Juniors taking the affirmative, and the Seniors the neg ative. Those debating were: Affirm ative Doc Bryant, Earl Futch; Neg ative Howell McLeod, and Edward McCorke. This debate was said to be one of the best in the history of the school, each one delivering his speech in a most convincing manner. The audience waited with real sus pense for the decision of the judges who were: Mrs. A. B. Lovell, Miss Pattie Martin, and Mrs. Green, teach ers in the High School. Much to the! joy of the Seniors, and sorrow of the Juniors, they decided unanimously in favor of the affirmative. The Seniors are "looking up".
