The Auburndale Camp Fire Girls! entertained the Winter Haven Camp ! Fire Girls at their Council Fire last j Monday night, which was held on the j shores of Lake Ariana near the school. A delicious lunch was served to about forty. The Methodist church services are held at the local school auditorium each Sunday morning at 11 o’clock: and evening services on the first and third Sundays. Sunday school each Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Comer Rogers left Wednesday for Jacksonville, from, where Mrs. Rogers and baby son will soon go to Indiana for the summer. Davis of St. Petersburg, for merly of this place, was in town for several days this week on business. Mulberry Loses to Auburndale Auburndale journeyed to Mulberry | last Thursday and won their game from the Mulberry team by the score ■ of 8 to 2. About five cars from town I made the trip and report a fine game, j the Mulberry team keeping the locals without a run until the seventh inn ing. Features of the game were the hitting of Brewer and Danzy and the pitching of Barnes. The center field er for Mulberry played a snappy game and robbed the locals of several nice hits.
