Mrs. Sam Estes and in fant daughter, Kethrene Louise, returned to Moose Pass from Seward Heneral hospital Monday. Mr. and Mrs. William Shellhorn of Seward visitec Mr. and Mrs. Will Estes at Hielo’s roadhouse this week, Mrs. Shellhorn came in on Tuesday night's train from Anchorage. Winfield Ervin, Anchor age banker, cane to Moose Pass on Tuesday night’s train and spent Wednesday. Donnie Cook was able to return to Moose Pass Satur day following his convales cene from an operation at Seward General hospital. Paul Williams was seri ously injured Mondey morn ing while at work on the railroad section, the resul of some heavy lifting. An toine Velanis, section boss took him to Seward General hospital where he remained two days, returning to Moos Pass Wednesday, A son was born to Mr.and Bob Saxton at Seward Gener al hospital Monday morning. While Kenneth Westonhan ger, lineman for the Alaska Railroad, was bumbling alon northward bound last Friday evening on a trackmobile,he got the shock of his life when he looked up and saw engine 801 coming at him. Mr. Westenbarger used his good 9ense and left there right now. So all that en1 gine 801 bagged last week was a railroad speeder. Bad luck happenings are said to run in threes. No doubt the engineer of 801 devoutly hopes that three strikes retire his bad luok hoodoo.
