Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Tories and family, who have been visiting here for ten davs, went b«ck to Flagstaff today. Visitors In Suyii This good weather has brought more visitors this time of year than ever be fore. Dr. Cunningham brought two guests with him last F r idav. They were! Mr, Eric Levy of Ocean Park Blvd., Santa Monica, California Mr. Daniel Lourie of Brandeis Univer sity, Mass. Mr. Robert H e nze and his two sons, Peter and Christopher Henze, of Pasadena, California hiked to Supai right after Christmas. They brought a guest with them ,/r r, Trvgve of Norway, They came down the short Trail and then walked on down to see the three waterfalls The next day they waited to see the heli copter come in and than hiked on out and went to the Grand Canyon, They staved in the Old Lodge, Ramona and Foster Marshall arrived here Saturday afternoon and left the next Alfred Hanna left hereSundav morning for his home in L©s Angeles. Henry Hanna took him to Ash Fork and from there he vent on the bus, Steve Paya and Henry Hanna came home from Ash Fork last night, Fred Hanidreek left Supai Wednesday and came home a day or two ago. He got ten boves and everybody had plenty of cake sos once. It looks like most people like white cake the best! I f ll take chocolate any dav, A new year has started for all of us. Let us all look back over the old year and remember that all the good things that came to us came from God. w e all have much to be thankful for and we should stop and think about those things. H anv people have given us gifts; some people have helped us in other ways; some have given us things that money cannot buy and these are the very best gifts of all. In Suoai we have every flowing water and for that we ?re glad and thankful. Let us all be thankful and try to make 1957 one of the happiest years we have ever had. Little M nson Marshall has had a bad cold: Dr, Cunningham gave him some medicine, Lee Marshall and his helpers, Steve Pava, Raymond p utesoy, and others have been tearing down one of the old b rns, Lee is hauling wood home to start on his new house, Gilbert Marshall has been very busy these days practicing; it’s a surprise! Most of these sores the children have are caused from dirt. Impetigo can be pre- * vented (stopped) if you will use plenty of soap and water every dayj Algin Watahomigie is getting ready to put the lining in his house. Lina*s big burden basket will be put in the Museum at the Grand Canvon soon. It is very, very quiet in Supai today; only one mule is coming up the Lane.
