Public Health... Dr. Mills was here last week to hold Clinic. He Saw about 60 people. M'lvin Sinyella was burned on the leg while in the Swept Bath yesterday. Several people have colds an o' sore throats and there is still lots of impetigo. The nurse, LaVerne Cooka, drove to Hilltop Sunday afternoon to show her parents what it looked like. They plan to come down and visit friends soon. New Babies... Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jones h a d a b a by girl August 7th and she has been named Bemadine. Mr. and Mrs. Dan iel Kask a had a boy Aguust 13th and he is known as Darrin Damon. Mr. and Mrs. Stan ley Manakaja h a d a girl on August 21st & she is Judith. We failed to report the birth of Frieda Raedin Sinyella who w a s born in Kingman on May lOth...her parents ctrvg la,. THE SUP AX NEWS Suoai, Arizona Telenhone at Hilltop.. Mr. Collins put in a phone at Hualapai Hilltop in Aug ust and it h a s been used constantly ever since. We are hapny that all of you are taking such good care of it. Thanks] Visit From Helicopter*..On Aug. 29th we were surprised to look up and see a big helicopter land in Supai. No one was sick or hurt so we were puzzled. 5 men stepped out and came over to the Gov*t Agency to say they were just pay ing us a social call. Commanding Officer of Luke Air Force Base, Col. {Tames W. Chapman, Jr., T/Set. Howard Alford, Lt. Col. David Willetts, Capt. Herbert Scrib er, and Capt. Walter McMeen hiked down to see the waterfalls and the rest of the valley. After a short visit with Mrs. Collins and Dr. Mills they took off to look over the rest of the Grand Canyon country. We were very happy to have these folks visit Sunai and we again want to thank them for coming here so many times to pick up sick people. Cowboys Leave... Chick Putesoy. Dick Watahomigie, & Alfred Hanna left this morning to work on the Fall Roundup at the Jack Ruble Ranch which used to be the Perner Ranch. Chick says he is looking forward to those thick, juicy steaks & hot biscuits every Lloyd Hanna is working down on the Green C a ttle Co. Ranch near Prescott. Government Visitors... Mr. Hollis Me- Cutcheon & Mr. Pod Shaw, Property Men from Parker, Ariz. were here on business last week. Also, Mr. J. Y. Christiansen & Mr. Voyd Robinson, of Parker, came in to see about the irrigation work which is to be done later on this winter. Helen Duncan, of Washington, D. C., Mr. M. E. Cooley, Flagstaff, Ariz., and Dr. & Mrs. Edwin McKee, of Denver were here last week doing work for the U. S. Geo logica.l Survey. They we re mapping and looking for fossils. The McKees are well known as they lived many years at the Grand Canyon and knew lots of you. They have a collection of 200 Sup a i bas kets.
