William, the cattle king of Adamana, was in town Wednes day on his way to Woodruff. Julius Wetzler has the front in, his new building and it is a dandy. Mrs. William Lee will opened a hotel in the Boyer house. She will serve meals, begining next Sun day. Mrs. Smith opened the Hotel Sunday for dinner as announced. The dinner was a good one, inf act Fred Harvey was nit it. We are satisfied it is the best eating house in this part, if not the whole of Arizona. W. B. Wood3 and two little sons returned last week from a visit at Los Angeles and other summer resorts in Calif. Mr. Woods reports a fine time and he looked as though he had enjoyed a well earned rest. i.i m W. B. Woods received a supply of goods for the signal Corps and among the suppleis was an assort ment of soap, laundry, bath and toiled soap' also a large supply of red tape. We understand that Mrs. W. H. Clark has so much improved of late that the Drs. say she may come home soon. This will be good news to Mrs. Clark many freinds here and in the County. --o Dick Grigsby was in town Wed nesday renewing old acquaintances-. Dick is one of those jolly good beys who make one feel like he was glad he was alive. Come again Dick. C. M. C. Houck, of Winslow, has been appointed Deputy Recorder by Recorder C. Hess. He will begin his duties the first of the month. ..i ' C. Hess, will ship about fifteen car load of sheep to the markets at Kansas City, next . week.
