G. C. Hall, president of the
Hall Lumber Co. was in Hol
brook for the week end,
, George Taylor, who is interest
ed in thr Holbrook Oil field, is
here on business connected with
his company.
A large and enthusiastic crowd
greeted the ball players Sunday.
Dorsey Hager has been busy
in the Holbrook field of late. It
seems like old times to have Mr.
Hager around Egain.
The Holbrook Oil Company
are progressing nicely with their
work of drilling out the cement.
With the water shut off the Hol
brook will be in excellent condi
tion. The Orman Construction Comp
any having completed their
ditching work are leaving. The
big ditcher has already been
shipped.
R. D. Chubbuck is being em
ployed by Babbitt Bros, on some
special work.
Dr. Oscar S. Brown, of Win
slow, was in town Wednesday.
Quite a crowd of Winslow
rooters attended the ball game

In the case of the State vs. La
Prade, LaPrade received a sent
ence of four or five years. Sent
ence was suspended, however.
Atty. W. H. Burbage, of Win
slow, was in Holbrook on legal
business Wednesday.
R. B, Walton, of Winslow
made a business trip Holbrook
Thursday.
The Hall Lumber Company ad
vertise their business. And they

H. 0. Duerr made a business
trip to Holbrook We3desday.
For two years this company has -endeavored to procure suitable space on the Railway
Company's right of way for its coal bins. At the end of two years it succeeded, and we
are now glad to inform our customers that our new bins have just been completed. Our
scales are being installed this week, and our first shipments of coal will start with the com
ing week. From that time you may call our office with every assurance that your coal
needs will be taken care of by prompt delivery of good clean Diamond Lump coal.
For your further'convenience we have arranged with Ed Ellis to make all deliveries
and receive orders at. their office next to the Wetzler Building.

town Saturday.
Mrs- H. D. O. Hammond, of
Keams Canyon, came to Hol
brook early part of the week for
a short visit.
L. R. Freeman, of the engi
neering force of H. Q. Duerr,
ieft for Lcs Angeles, Friday, on
a vacation.
