KIDDIES WILL BE IN IT The Northern Arizona State Fair held at Prescott during the latter part of October will provide the kiddies with a good time as well as the older people. The babies in the Better Babies Contest will of course be a center of great . attrac tion, but the bigger boys and girls will find an" outlet for their pep in the "Kiddies Parade", which according to all information will simply -"knock'em coldy all along the route. EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT, STATE OP ARIZONA. WHEREAS, It is provided by Chap ter 1, Title 12, of the Revised Stat utes of Arizona, 1913, Civil Code, that a general election shall be held for the election of a Representative la Congress, members of : the Legisla- . ture, and state, county, and precinct officers, on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, 1914, and every two vears thereafter: . WHEREAS, Chapter 1, Title 12. of the Revised Statutes of. Arizona, Civil Code, further requires that there shall be at each general election im mediately preceding the expiration of the term of office of any United States Senator from Arizona the election of a United States Senator; WHEREAS, It is provided by Sec tion 3, of Article 6, of the Constitu tion of the State of Arizona that if a vacancy occur in the office of Judge of the Supreme Court, the Governor shall appoint a person to fill such vacancy until the election and quali fication of a judge to hold said office, which election shall take place at the next succeeding general election, and the person so elected shall hold office for the remainder of the unexpired term; and, WHEREAS, it is provided by Chap-' ter 1, Title 12, of the Revised Stat utes of Arizona, 1913, Civil Code, that at least thirty days before a general election the tiovernor shall issue a proclamation containing a statement of 'the time .of election offices to ba filled, and an offer of rewards in the form prescribed to prevent abuses o the elective franchise, copies of which proclamation shall be transmitted to, the Clerks of the Boards of Super visors of the different counties of the State: NOW, THEREFORE, I, TH0MA3 E.
