My 4 brothers and I are each sending a S2O al lotment home. Now we hear we can’t do that. Is that right? A. Each of you can make out a Class E allotment, sending a portion of your pay home. Whether each of you could make out depend ency (Class F) allotment would depend entirely on your parents’ needilf they are actually dependent on both of you, they might be able to get an allotment from each of you. Q. I got a girl in trou ble while overseas and now we have an illegitimate child. Somehow, the family allowance for this child is going to my wife. She now thinks she will be gi ven custody of this child, which she doesn’t want. What should I do? A. To send a family all owance to your illegitimate child, you will need a re authorization form from the ODB, which your order ly room should obtain for you. Designate the proper payee on this form. The Army has no interest in who has custody of your illegitimate child. WIPE THAT OPINION OFF YOUR FACE Page 3
