Page 8 By DELLA HANEY - Our last Christnas in the Army was a happy one, Now that the holidays are over, we can 4 "breath pure air "but, on Christmas Day, some of us couldn't even see- much less "breath. Peace prevailed the atmosphere everywhere and all were happy. Some of the girls attended "Mass" at the Catholic Church at midnight while others went to the Post Chapel. As we chatted of last Christmas and of those who have left us since then, I noticed a few tears in some eyes. Christmas dinner in the WAC "super ior” mess hall was voted the ""best on the Pest". Congrats to M. Hale & ff. Ed uard. The dining roam was well decor ated with fresh green holley with red "berries "and mistletoe. Thanks to the many WACs who volunteered to assist with the serving. More than eighty gue sts were present. Ist Lt. C. Bland and her husband, hr. Quincey Tatum were the hosts for the gay occasion. Among the honored guests were: Chaplain and Hrs. Anderson, Chaplain Ellis, Chaplain bar ter, Capt.and Mrs. Carney, Hrs. Carter, Capt. Price, Hrs. Hills and Hr. Mc- Adams (USG), Sgt. and Hrs. Beßoy Black. Leaving the area this week for sepa ration center are: Sgt. Winnie Hamilton, Pvt.
