following details of the fight l,etwccn
Myers and McAulifTe. It began at C:3;
this morning, in a public hall, after
great difficulty in inducing the UierifT
to allow the fight to proceed it being
represented to him that it wjs simply
a glove contest. The fight was inter
rupted twice by the sheriff cud his dep
uties, but nevertheless it proceeded fori
fii rounds and after nearly four end a
half hours had Iocn consumed it was
