son and John Bridger were
ruthlessly murdered near the
line between Mexico and Ari
zona, in the county or Cochise
this Territory, and
Whereas, It appears from
the evidences of reliable wit
nesses and the report of the
Coroner's inquest held upon
the bodies of said Robinson
and Bridger in the City of
Tombstone on the 15th day
of December i8go, that the
murders were committed by
hostile Indian renegades who
are absent without leave from
their reservation.
Now Therefore, I, N.
O, Murphy, acting Governor
of Arizona, by virtue of
the power and authority within
me vested, do hereby offer a
reward in the sum of FIVE
HUNDRED ($500.00) DOL
LARS (which sum shall be
aggregate amount paid under
this proclamation) for the ar
rest and conviction of the mur
derers of said N, H. Robinson
and John Bridger, or for satis
ory evidence that said mur
derersiuiye been killed during
legitimate efforts to capture
them, which evidence may con
sist of the dead bodies of the
Indian murderers, or such por
tion of their bodies as shhll be
sufficient to satisfactorily prove
their identity.
In witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand an&
caused the Great Seal of the
Territory to be affixed.

at the court house, ten cords dry,
black oak and three cords dry juniper
wood.
Also proposals for publishing in a
newspaper published in Cochise coun
ty all advertisements ordered by the
board from Jan. 10, lS9i to Jan. 10,
1S92. Proposals muit specify tiie
rates per inch in bourgeois tpe for
each insertion in each or either a dail)
or weekly paper.
Also for publishing the delinquent
tax list of 1S90, specifying price per
nch in solid nonpareil typle.
Also for job printing, to consist of
eheet blanks, sheet blanks and
whole sheet blanks, including backing
of same. Bidders will specify the
price per 1,000 and 500 of each kind,
on flat cap paper weighing fuurieen
pounds per ream, from Jan. 10, 1S91
to Jan. 10, IS92.

the- board from Jan. 10, 1891 to Jan.
10, 1892 in each or either a daily or
weekly newspaper.
