Democratic ationa! Silver We are handling '1 ra.AiVIC SIDID A.T-.H.S SO-AJP Which for easy and perfect washing cant' be beat. The deed is done, tbe different polit ical parties of which there are four in the United States, have accomplished the work of nominating their candidates for president and vice-president, three ef thse parlies hava virtually com bined on one set o! candidates the Democratic party, the Silver party and the Populist party the Populists deeming it political wisdom to name a man, Mr. Wataon, of Georgia, for the second place on the ticket, the evident wish being, first to force Mr. So all to withdraw from the race, and second if this could not be accomplished, to use their eery endeavor to hold the balance of power in the electoral col lege so that in the event of the elec tion of a majority of the siher electors, they can compel the choice-' of Mr. Watson in order to make sure the elec tion of Mr. Bryan. This appears to be a compromise in the Populist con vention to secure the nomination of Bryan by that body. At all events these are the facta and the great ob ject now to be sought, is the election of Bryan and at the same .time to elect a majority of staunch silver ad vocates to congress so that there will be no hampering of the silver cause but to give every facility for the swift opening of our mints to the ffee and unlimited coinage of both gold and silver. He says: JTbeJair-S full of-silver .disenseion. There is, a much larger silver sentiment here than one would imagine from the papers published "here.- They say that three or four counties in this state will vote for ail far Iv a treat majority. This ia particularly rue among the working f people as a whole.
