recently and demanded his share of
hii father's estate. The. courts refuse
to believe him alive in spile of hii own
affidavit. Soma people's reputation
is always getting in the way of their
material advancement.
It would seem as if tho erection of
the free eonage banner at Chicago was
all that was needed to awaken the
slumbsring silver sentiment of the na
tion. As an exchange aptly says from
many portions of the east, where the
existence of such a sentiment wa un
suspected, have come assurances of
active eupport for Bryan and Sewall.

tus, and desire to return to the pros
perity 'that existed under bimetallic
