Jas. A. Lamb left ibis morning for
a short visit to Tombstone, but will
return in a day or so.
A. Long, agent for Goldberg's cloth
tag house in Fbeniz, was an Incoming
passenger this evening.
Mrs. A. Barnaby returned to Bisbee
today after being away since June,
visiting the "old folks at borne."
Ed Land, whom we cow consider a
good Bisbeeite, took a trip to Benson
today. He was accompanied on his
return by Mrs Wm. Lsnd and daugh
ter, who will remain in town for a few
dja. Ed has opened a law office in
the Queen building, and we see no
reason why he should not do a good
business here.
The delegates to the Republican
county, county convention lett for
Tombstone this morning. Messrs.
Louis Williams, J. W. Farrington,
Amos Kindred fW. P. Long and H. M.
Wcods lsft on the train and Dayton
Graham and E. A. Wittig went over
by team. They all expect to see a very
good ticket put in the field.
Dick Hartman has decidedly refused
our advice thai he purchase a McKin
Iry hat to wear with his hair-cut and
s tutca that it is altogether unnecessary.
Dick was returning home rather late
lsst evening and waa met in one of the
darkest portions of the canyon by
another pedestrian. It was so dark
that Dick could hardly see bis hand
