Mrs. John Unbehaa returned this
evening from New Mexico where she
has been visiting her people for sev
eral months past. She had a pleasant
time on her visit but is glad t be in
Bitbee once once again for all that

York is now in town looking the situ

plans and estimates for the Copper
Queen company, who will probably
take hold of tbe matter if any such
arrangement be brought about by a

Our good people who havo been de
tained in Tombstone on court busi
ness for a number of days put are be
ginning to return homo aa fast as ex
cused from their various duties. Those
who were (orturata eaough to get off
in time to return today were Dsyton
Graham and Fat Harrington. We
noticed however that Sheriff Fly came
in on the' rams train with them and
jup nse that be will catch a few more
luckless mortals to keep him company
on his return and to fill no tits throng
in Tombstone.
Several hunting partiis were out in
diflVrent directions yesterday but all
came back with the same disappoint
ing tale of 'no game." The ducks
seem to have left the country entirely
as several parties too-t in diff rent
parts of the valley yesterday without
seeing a duck, and we ourselves can
v6ucb for the fact that there are na
ducks down the river as we were Backer
enojgh to tramp about ten miles in
searcb of enough feathers to save our
selves from a horse laugh. We are
not Licking much though, for we took
enough food for three days and eat it
in one and consequently consider our
selves two days ahc a 1 ol the game.
