The popularity of Mathews as a
summer resort is unusually well
attested this season. In all sect?
ions one sees and hears of the
numerous visitors: who are among
us; and this neighborhood is en?
tertaining her share. Among the

; Baltimore takes the lead. We are
glad to welcome in our midst,
these people who bring with them
a large measure of jolly and bright
companionship, and believe these
visits mutually beneficial to them
and to us.

took the train to Tasley, about
