King spent Sunday here, holding services in the Leggett buil ding Sunday morning. He left Mon day for Lacy, where he is building on his homestead, and getting his family comfortably settled. J. P. Buswell, lately of Waucoma, Iowa, Is building a house on the south side, and 'making preparations to house his family, who will be here in a short time. One of the busiest places in town will be found on the south side of the tracks, near the stockyards, where daily wagon after wagon of immigrant goods are unloaded and taken out into the country, besides the great amount of freight handled by the local trans fer firms for our merchants. August F. Schulz, of Andover D., arrived with his family and goods hist Wednesday, and is making settle ment on his claim about six miles southwest of Philip. Mr. Shulz has seven head of horses and fifteen head of cattle, besides a large flock of chickens, ducks and geese, and has come to Stanley county to make it his permanent home. Accompanying him were his jvife, and sister, four daughters, Ida, Hattie, Alice and Tillie, and Martin Mortensen, Guy Newman and John Jensen, the two latter from Furney, S. D. The Re view extends to them hearty wel come. Is. A special train bearing the delega tion from Sioux Falls reached Philip Friday about two o'clock and made a stop of about a half hour. The mem bers of the party, who will be in touch with the business interests west of the river, with the opening of the ex tension, met the business men of our town, and were accorded a hearty reception. They were all of that en ergetic class of business men one will find in a western town, and it did not take them long to demonstrate that the "Sioux Falls way" was a winner.
