Big Cattle Deal.
Quite a large cattle deal was closed
up here yesterday iu which ('. A.
Buchanan of Kurten, sold to Jenkins
and Oliver of Caldwell, 183 head of
one, two and three year old steers.
The purchasers drove the cattle thru
the country to Caldwell.
A telephone message came from Mr.
Thurston Cole at Sinton Tuesday
night stating that later developments
proved that he did net have appendi
citis as his physician thought when
he was first taken ill. He Is now well
on the road to complete recovery and
will be. In his usual rood health in a
few days. His many friends here will
be glad to learn that his illness was
not serious as was reported.
