Now I want to say to the people,
bo not sav to yourselves ”1 will j
wait and see the outcome” but
just jump right in and every
family say ’Tm going to help
Mr. Raines, cur editor, push this
through and get our news printed
at home” I know there are some
who we can rely on to do this.
As I said before, I am from Clay
County N. C., and when away
from there, I get the Clay County
News, which is published in Clav
County every week, and I do not
know how we wouid feel should
this paper stop. There is, also,
a Cherokee County Paper printed
in Andrews N. C., a sister county
to Clay, this paper reaches me
somehow, through the kindness
of some friend, Thanks to my
friend for this courtesy. So you
see I get all the news from both
Counties, of which I am well ac
quainted, I know some of the
readers of the Dickenson County
Herald have friends in'some for
eign country, who would be just
like myself and wife, whoop and
hurrah to the post office and get
the home news, two papers, your
home county news an d the adjoin
ing county news, which is a hint
to the citizens of Buchanan Co.
I know you have some friends,
who would be glad to get the news
of Dickenson Co. Send in their
subscription and have the paper
sent to them and see what they
will tell you on their nezt visit to
see you.
o o come o n everyone, both
Dickenson and Buchanan county,
send in your subscription to the
Dickenson County Herald and get
one of the best papers in print.
Respectfully
James McCarty

Why shouldn’t they voice their satis
faction—those thousands and thou
sands of owners who made the year
just passed the greatest in Oldsmobile
history?
Attracted to Oldsmobile, perhaps by
some one outstanding feature, they
discover, as the months and miles roll
by, an overflowing measure of all
those qualities which contribute to
enduring satisfaction.
Oldsmobile gratifies their finer tastes,
satisfies their every need. Their ex

Their judgement stands confirmed!
