We feel sure that our readers will lind this war paper interesting reading, and, in a private letter, we jue promised another letter later on. The time is not far distant when we will have to depend upon history and records for such infor? mation, because the lips of all the veterans will be silent. Hence it is that those who place on record the history that is'to be obtained from the old war diaries, or from the lasting impressions of memory, are discharging a duty they owe to posterity, and one that will be ap? preciated when none are left "to tell the tale." All persons knowing themselves indebted to the firm of E. B. White? law & Co. will please call and settle . at onee as we wish to close up our business. We also wish to thank our pa? trons for their liberal patronage of the past. Respectfully, E. B. Whitelaw k Co. Several of the Spanish cities stand upon the crests of tall hills, where such climatic changes occur after nightfall.
