Coon, on Tinker Creek, has been much annoyed here of late by thieves who have roamed about his place at their own plensurn and helped themselves to just what suited their taste and assisted by the shadow of night. Mr. Abshire stood these depredations till patience ceased to be a virtue and Monday night he decided to set a watch lor the future late comers. A number of delegates from Winston, N. Oy, passed through the city yesterday. Most of the Virginia delegation will reach BaHimbro this morning at 8-80 o'clock, In time to take the 9 o'clock train for Niagara, arriving there at 10:80 p. m. Leaving Niagara at 11 o'clock Thursday, the party will arrive in To? ronto about 12:15 a m. The opening meetlne at Toronto will be held on Thursday afternoon, July 15, at 2 o'clock, and wUl consist principally of addresses of welcome md replies. In the evening four great services wld be held in Massey Hall, Horticultural PavU lion, Metropolitan, and Cooke's churches. On Friday morning a departmental conference will he.arranfeed for different churches,when practical methods of work .will be discussed. Friday afternoon the subject will be "Christ in the World," "Christ in the Individual Life," "Christ in the Homo," "Christ 1? Polltlot,." At the Friday evening meeting "The World for Christ" will be the theme. Saturday forenoon >rill be devoted to denominational; rallies. Saturday afternoou a great otien-alr meeting will be held In the Queen's Park, when an opportunity will he given all delegates to meet together in one mighty throng.
