REJECTED APPLICATIONS —There are in the Pat ent Office many applications for Part nts, of great and valuable inventions, which have been rejected tbr mete technical objections and me want « f proper care and experience in the preparation of the papers There is perhaps an equal number which have been rejected on references, which in the present condition of the appli cations are right and proper, hut in many instances a slight change or modification would enable the inventor to obtain a parent. These corrections and amendments can only be made by a personal examination of the |»a pers. and comparison of the invention with lhe refer ences given by tne office. To this branch of the busi ness we propose to give per tonal and special attention. For a fee of five dollars we will examiue all ordinary cases of tii« kind, and give an opinion as to the proba bility of obtaining a patent. It is desirable that th time when the application was made, as near as possible, and the character of the iuvention, should be sent to us; we should also have a Pow*-r of Attorney, to whicn, in all cases, there must bo attached a fifty-ctnt revenue stamp* EXTENSION OF PATENTS.—lnventors who have, without default, failed to receive a remuneration ade quate to the merits of their iuvention, are entitled to an extension of their patent ior a term of seven years.
