All children will be admitted free, and grown people will be charg ed 25 cents each, merely to de fray the expenses of the hall and lights This entertainment will be worth attending No greater act of heroism is recorded than the brave efforts ot Fireman Christa 1 to save the life of his associate, Engineer Bates Brakett, in the disastrous wreck of No. 1, last Wednesday. If ever a man deserved a medal for heroic sacrifice in the face of imminent danger, Fireman Christal deserves one,—Raton Range. The Range pays Fireman Christal a deserved tribute When the engine of which Brackett and Christal had charge turned over and Mr. .Brackett was pinioned under the huge structure. Christal es caped without a scratch. How ever, he rushed back into the scalding steam that was escap ing in clouds and to his certain painful injury and imminent risk of life, worked single-hand ed until he was dragged away to extricate the dying engineer. —Las Vegas Optic. Proposals for County Printing and Stationery Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Navajo County, Territory of Arizona, will receive bids for supplying said county with all county printing, printed sta tionery. etc., for the year 1906. to wit: Printing and furnishing all necessary stationery, such as I receipt books, school tax books, tax receipts, county licenses, warrants, etc., for the use of the various county officers.
