Howard, killing wild animals 6 00 It appearing to the Board that Nestor Jaramillo of Winslow, age 72 year, and is in a destitute condition, it is hereby ordered that he be exempt from taxes. On motion the Board takes a recess until 1 p m. At 1 p. m. Board convenes. 411 present. The matter of County deposi tory having come up the Board accepted the proposition of the Navajo County Bank to be the depository of the public lunds and it is hereby ordered that a contract and bond be executed to the County by said Navajo County Bank. It is hereby ordered that the sum of $7,113.85 be transferred from the general County fund to the salary fund and $2,365.85 from the salary fund to the road fund and $14,000.00 from the general Count}' fund to expense fund and the Clerk of the Board will notify the Treasurer of such transfers being made The Board hereby orders that on the completion ol the tele phone line ol the Northern Ari zona Telephone Company be tween Holbrook and Winslow, the County will pay a rental of $5.00 per month for telephone service, the communication and instrument for same to be placed in the office of Clerk of the Board as accessable to County business. In the matter of the demand of W. B. Woods for salary claim ed to be in arrears as Clerk of the District Court, action on same is deferred for future con sideration. It appearing to the Board that a piano assessed by an error of the Assessor to Mrs. L. Delhotel, Winslow, for the sum of SIOO, the same not being in her posses sion and is ordered dropped from assessment roll. The report of Road Overseer R. D. No. 5 was referred for fu ture action, the same being in complete, no voucher stubs hav ing been filed therewith. It is hereby ordered that the Clerk ol the Board be authorized , to issue cash orders on the Treas urer for the ensuing year, subject to the approval of the Chairman ol the Board, and a quarterly statement of such cash orders issued to be submitted quarterly for approval of Board. On motion the Board adjourns for recess until 1 p. m. At 1 p. m. Board convenes. All present. The Board now proceeds to select the eligible electors who are to serve as jurors, the same being selected, the Clerk of the Board is directed to make a list thereof for filing and to file a certified copy of same with the Clerk of the District Court as required by law. The Board find that by com paring the duplicate assessment roll for 1906 with the back tax list that the sum ol $ are delinquent exclusive of interest and fees from December 10,1906, and the same to be listed in the back tax book in alphabetical and numerical order.
